Ion Selective Probe Setup notes for ASET v2.00 on Windows XP
These notes are for setting up an Ion Selective Probe with ASET v2.00 on Windows XP.
It is important to enter the correct preamp and main amp gains in the calibration setup.
This is an example of the correct settings for a preamp gain 10 and main amp gain 100
(the default configuration):
The Sampling Rules must also be set up correctly:
Note that the gain specification method in the 'Add Cartesian Point' dialog is different
from what is used in the Calibration dialog.
The A/D channel gain is the product of
the preamp and main amp gain, while the D/A channel gain is equal to the preamp gain.
